Minova China Region
China is the newest of Minova International’s global regions. The country has been established as a separate region because of its large size and growth potential.
Minova entered the country in 2006 by forming a joint venture known as Ruichy Minova.
Minova has made a substantial investment in local manufacturing and produces in China all of the company’s major coal industry products, including resin capsules, injection chemicals and steel bolts.
Minova has also invested in China with the acquisition of a stake in GRP Technology, a manufacturing business with a special focus on research and development. The Shanghai-based company is researching fibreglass technology first developed for the tunnelling industry in Europe.
The China region is led by Minova International’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Reich, who was instrumental in establishing Minova’s business in China in his former role as Chief Executive, Europe.
