Minova invests in self drilling anchor business
Essen, 07.10.2011 – Minova has today announced that it has acquired the self drilling anchor business from Atlas Copco MAI Gmbh. Based in Feistritz, Austria the business will become part of Minova’s Tunneling and Civil business.
Craig Elkington, Minova CEO said “Minova is constantly improving its products and services to help our customers meet their daily challenges and improve their business performance. The acquisition of this self drilling anchor business will help us to continue to widen our range of products and services in order to provide more value added solutions for our customers.”
Atlas Copco will also continue to sell self drilling anchors in selected markets and applications, through a distributor agreement with Minova. Minova will also continue to act as a distributor for Atlas Copco in selected markets and applications for Swellex.
Minova is part of the Australian group Orica Limited, and offers high performing ground support and consolidation products and services to people working in the tunneling, infrastructure, construction and repair industries around the world. Its expertise has been developed through growing its people complimented by a long and solid history in global mining and tunneling works.
